Birdwatching na Amazônia

Prepare for a memorable experience in the Amazon

The Rio Negro region, between Iranduba and Barcelos, is one of the richest and most preserved areas of the Brazilian Amazon, with breathtaking landscapes and an incredible avian diversity.

Among streams, upland forests, and flooded forests live emblematic and rare species such as the Wire-tailed Manakin, the Rufous-throated Sapphire, the Pavonine Quetzal, and many other birds endemic to the Amazon basin—a true paradise for birdwatchers.

Uiara Birdwatching, a specialized operation of Uiara Amazon Resort, offers exclusive river and land expeditions along this iconic stretch of the Rio Negro. Our excursions are conducted with comfort and safety aboard the Ana Clara boat, a vessel specially adapted for high-quality ecotourism.
